I am an award-winning documentary producer, educator, and media psychologist with over 20 years of experience in media production and education. I earned my M.F.A. in Film Production from Chapman University’s Dodge College of Media Arts and Design and have worked with industry leaders like Technicolor and HBO. For nearly two decades, I have taught audio, video, and radio production and performance, guiding students in both technical expertise and creative storytelling.
I hold an M.A. in Psychology with an emphasis on Emerging Technology and am currently in the dissertation phase of my Ph.D. in Media Psychology at Fielding Graduate University. My research explores the intersection of immersive technologies, education, and meditation for mental health, bridging media innovation with human well-being. This work is part of my doctoral practicum, reflecting my commitment to integrating psychological insights with emerging technology.
As a devout lay Buddhist and long-time meditation practitioner, I bring a contemplative and embodied approach to my work. As a certified embodiment coach, I help individuals cultivate presence and self-awareness through movement and mindfulness. By blending media, psychology, and Buddhist principles, I strive to foster meaningful engagement in both digital and real-world spaces.
